Dates for group tripto Walt Disney World with Families with Diabetes

Alright Everyone - as many of you know, I am an Authorized Disney Planner.  A few weeks ago, I threw out the idea of a group trip to Walt Disney World (FL) for families with Diabetes.  I am happy to say that the plans are just about in place!  The dates for the group trips for families (and friends) with Diabetes to Walt Disney World are January 22-28, 2012 and March 11-17, 2012 (spring break for many of you). Pick the one that works best for your family.  This will be a relaxed time for families with Diabetes to enjoy the parks and make some magical memories!  Please share this information with all that you know who may be interested - i.e. support groups, moms groups, JDRF chapters, etc. If you haven't done so, send me a note that you are interested and I will add you to my list to personally contact.

What would you plan to make this a group trip?  Organized events?  Meet up spots?  How would this be any different than a regular visit to DW?  Just curious...

Disney has given me a chance to block off rooms at select resorts - so I am offering these rooms blocks to families with Diabetes.  It is a chance for the families to take advantage of room and ticket discounts. They will also have access to the Dining Plans. 

My goal in organizing this trip, was to give families with Diabetes the chance to go to Disney.  Each family can custom design their own package with resort accommodations, tickets, and dining plans.  The plans are to keep it very relaxed and let everyone set their own schedule and pace.  They can arrive and depart on days of their choice anytime during the block. I have 3 resorts available to pick from. I will organize a basic itinerary but it is completely optional.  I hope to organize some times for everyone to meet.  However, I will be able to plan more of this after I see how many families are attending.  This is not a conference - just a chance for families to go and gain access to discounts that are not available to the general public.  You are also welcome to include extended family and friends.
