Our daughter was 5 when we decided on an Animas IR1250 pump because of the smaller increments of insulin that could be given.  We need to start thinking about upgrading since our 4 years are almost up. Which pump is best suited for an active 9 year old?  I would love to know some pros and cons as to which pump to choose for my age child.  Thanks ahead of time for your input.

I'd recommend looking into the omnipod you can send me a message if you have any questions, site changes are a breeze and the remote is THE BEST for us!

my daughter is 12 an very active, we let her make the choice 10 months ago and she got chose the animas. of course i also looked at them and decided really it's what she'll be happy with.  Animas has been wonderful for us.  We have travelled alot and they helped us out w/loaners right away.  we went out of the country and had no issues, just love ANIMAS!  my daughter loved the color selection too!  it's a girl thing.

We are checking out the Animas Ping.  Does anyone use the Ping?  What do you think?
