Just got a call from our Department of Endocrinologist that my 14 year old has qualified
for a MiniMed ParadigmVeo Pump with the CGM. She is currently on the Paradigm 722. I am scared and excited at the same time. It has been difficult lately with a lot of hypos and eating issues . Has anyone some experience with this system???
My daughter surfs and swims a lot ..will the Transmitter stay on when wet..and and a lot of question marks.
I know I can ask the endo... but..I rather hear a Mum telling me!!!

My daughter is on MM Revel Model with CGM.  She swam with the CGM transmitter on all last summer.  To keep the CGM on her we put IV3000 over the transmitter.  We would have to change the IV3000 a lot but we never had any problems with it falling off.  It will lose data if you don't link the two up every 45-50 min.  We would make her come out for a few and get a drink and let the two link back up.  Occasionally we would get a lost signal, but it would always link back up after a little bit.
