A great question I posted here from FB so others could check out the question/answer thread:

Any one have a type one playing football? Every time Isiah gets done with practice or a late game his blood sugars are all out of whack and his infusion sets won't stay in.

When our kids swim sometimes it's hard to keep their infusion sets on.  Because of the sweat during football should we treat the inset the same as we do when they swim just to keep it on?

My son is using the untethered regimen where he disconnects from his pump during football.  He is on a shot of Lantus also which helps keep his sugar under control while disconnected.  I also use tegaderm over infusion set to help keep the infusion set in while sweating during football.....does not always work but helps keep it in.
