Weird symptoms...related???

Our son Bodie was just at the endo Jan. 26 where they changed his Lantus from morning to bed time. We have been getting weird lows in the middle of the night...thankfully he is aware of the lows and comes to get us. The first few days, he was acting fine. Then as of last Friday he has been periodically complaining of stomach aches, headaches and doesn't eat like he used to. He used to tell us he was "STARVING" at bed time even after eating his whole dinner. Now he barely finishes his dinner and goes right to sleep. He is usually a VERY active 6 year old. He used to be loud and laugh and dance around and sing ALL THE TIME!! Now, he's SO quiet it's frightening to my husband and I! He has been diabetic for almost 5 years and was taking his Lantus in the morning because of the night time lows before. Does anyone know if these symptoms are related to the switch and his numbers being in a more normal to low range as opposed to the high side of normal to high like he had been previously?
