A parent from  Hamilton Ontario sent us this question:

Looking for something fun to do with the kids for New Years....in the past we did chocolate fondue . Over the holidays we have dealt with more highs(12 -14mmol) then lows(1 time at 3.2mmol) so we are thinking of skipping the fondue this year but want to do something really fun. My son with autism (13) is having a hard time understanding this . Very stressful time.

Any ideas?

Why not do cheese fondue, or meat? You could do chicken, steak, shrimp, vegetables, ect. Don't change your tradition, just make it healthier for all!
