Hey everyone,
Just joined the site here. My daughter has had type 1 for 18 months now, was diagnosed on her 3rd Birthday. She went on a Animas pump last Thursday. Wow its been very hard since then...hopefully I can find some support here.

Hi there Kirsty, i am also from Australia, & have an 11yo with Type 1diabetes, & he has had this since he was almost 2yrs old. So i can understand how you are feeling. We are also on an Animas pump, which prob for a few yrs now. Hope to chat to you soon, this looks like a good site

Im too from Australia

Im mum to Sarah who is now 16 months old and was Diagnosed with Diabetes when she was 2 days old.

She has a rare condition in where she was born without a Pancreas.

We are using the Animas pump and so far so good
