Diabetic supplies needed for tornado victims in Joplin, MO Please read below. If anyone in my area would like to donate please contact me to ship it all together. Thank you. Please keep Greg's employee and his family in your prayers. They lost their home as well as other family members of his.

Missouri Diabetics need your help. Do you have any extra supplies, still in packaging you can donate? JDRF Ozarks who will receive ANY Diabetic supplies and will make sure they get to the T1's in Joplin MO IMMEDIATELY. Look around your hous...e.. do you have an extra box of anything or two that you can ship to her? The medical storehouse as well as the Hospital there have been demolished.

Reminder: Insulin MUST BE SHIPPED COLD! EVERYTHING must be in original SEALED packaging -for obvious reasons.

Some things to check your 'stock piles' of are: Test strips, alcohol swabs, pen needles, ketone strips, any pump site or reservoirs, Pokers / lancets, syringes or anything else you can think of.. another idea is to call your Endo and see if they have some samples that are close to expiration that they might throw in... If you're willing to ship anything to her here is her contact info.

Thank you to anyone who donated to the Joplin tornado relief efforts.  My daughter had been diagnosed for a little more than 2 months when the tornado struck.  While our house did not sustain any damage the two pharmacies that we used we destroyed.  The efforts of JDRF, the ADA, and others were a God send.
