Friends and Family Diabetes can be scary. You spend so much time learning about this chronic condition, it becomes second nature. But what about those close to you? Pumping Many of our children use insulin pumps and some are also using continuous glucose monitors (CGM's). "Pumping" is a great method of insulin delivery, yet it's not without issues. For those considering it, questions, choices and obstacles abound. Stop by and let's talk about "pumping"! |

Those Teen Years As our kids hurtle through their teen years toward independence and adulthood, the challenges are many: rapid physiological change, personal development, sports, social and academic pressures, to name a few. Diabetes adds another dimension. Kids deal with it in different ways. For some, it can be quite challenging. Connect here with parents who can relate. |
